Buffalo man accused of murder in alleged Elmwood shooting

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — A Buffalo man is facing a murder charge in connection with an alleged fatal shooting in the Elmwood Village last October, the Erie County District Attorney's Office said Wednesday.Denzel Maye, 28, is accused of shooting and killing 52-year-old Howard Shelton on the afternoon of Oct. 24, 2024 on Potomac Avenue near Elmwood.
Maye has been charged with second-degree murder and second-degree criminal possession of a weapon. He is being held without bail.If convicted of t
