American Red Cross announces "Sound the Alarm" events in Buffalo and Fredonia

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — The American Red Cross of Western New York in collaboration with New York State assembly leader Crystal Peoples-Stokes and Buffalo Fire commissioner William Renaldo are working to reduce the risk of fires in Western New York by installing hundreds of smoke detectors in homes.The first day of action takes place on April 26 in Fredonia with the goal of installing 400 smoke alarms in areas disproportionately affected by home fires.
