19-year-old found guilty of murder for 2023 shooting

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — A 19-year-old Buffalo man was found guilty of murder in the shooting death of a 21-year-old in August 2023, the Erie County District Attorney's Office said Tuesday.A jury found Jakai Lofton guilty of second-degree murder and second-degree criminal possession of a weapon in connection with the death of Quban Romell Najee Embry. Lofton shot Embry multiple times on the front porch of a home on the 200 block of Shirley Avenue on Aug. 12, 2023. Embry died at the scene.Jur
