17-year-old barricaded himself for hours following Dollar Tree shooting

DEPEW, N.Y. (WIVB) -- A 17-year-old male barricaded himself in a nearby apartment and was charged with attempted murder in connection with an alleged shooting in a Dollar Tree parking lot in Depew on Wednesday night, police said during a press conference Thursday.
Depew police responded to the store, located on Broadway, around 6:15 p.m. A 20-year-old female, who was also an employee at the Dollar Tree, had been shot multiple times in the parking lot, police said. The woman was transported to EC
