Reverse Fire: Crews battle wildfire west of Fredericksburg
FREDERICKSBURG, Texas (KXAN) -- Crews were battling a wildfire just west of Fredericksburg in Gillespie County on Tuesday and officials named it the Reverse Fire. The affected area is estimated at 75 acres and it's 45% contained as of Tuesday night, per a press release.The fire broke out around 2:45 p.m. near the 400 block of East Grand Oaks Drive, the release said.
