Operation Safe Summer brings enhanced patrols to Austin

In an attempt to deter criminal activity, the Texas Department of Public Safety launched Operation Safe Summer on Thursday, bringing more law enforcement to pedestrian-dense areas in Texas cities Austin, San Antonio, Houston, Dallas and Fort Worth.
