One person dead following incident on CapMetro bus on South Lamar, APD says

Austin (KXAN)-- One person is dead following a homicide in south Austin Wednesday night, the Austin Police Department said.APD Wednesday night investigated a homicide on South Lamar Boulevard near the intersection with Barton Springs Road around 6:46 p.m.Austin Police held a press conference at 9:30 p.m. and were joined by Austin Police Officer David Lewis and CapMetro Director of Security Darryl Jamail. According to APD, multiple 911 callers indicated to police a male was covered in b
