New pedestrian hybrid beacon installed in east Austin

A new Pedestrian Hybrid Beacon (PHB) was built at the intersection of Cesar Chavez Street and Chalmers Avenue on Monday. It stops traffic so that people can safely cross busy roads with higher speed limits.
