Leander police say report of attempted abduction 'unfounded'

LEANDER, Texas (KXAN) — A report of a stranger who tried to entice a girl into his vehicle in Leander was determined to be "unfounded," police said.The Leander Police Department initially reported that a juvenile girl was walking on Artesian Springs Crossing, in the Crystal Springs neighborhood, Friday afternoon when a man pulled up in a vehicle next to her and yelled at her to get inside.
