Former Pac-12 Player of the Year joins Texas softball coaching staff

Freeman joins Southeastern Louisiana's Rick Fremin as an addition to the staff following the departures of Kristen Zaleski and Ehren Earleywin. Zaleski was named the head coach at Utah State, and Earleywine joined the staff at Tennessee.
