East Austin's Doris Miller Auditorium could get a historic designation this week
The Doris Miller Auditorium is a civic building within Rosewood Park. It was built in 1944, and its first purpose was to serve as a facility for Black service members returning from World War II, according to a zoning change review sheet submitted by the Historic Landmark Commission.
