Death investigation: Person walking dog called APD reporting man 'face down' below bridge

AUSTIN (KXAN) — The Austin Police Department responded to a scene in east Austin late Friday morning after reports of a deceased person.According to APD, the call was near the 2900 block of Lovell Drive.Corporal Jose Mendez provided as many details as possible Friday afternoon, though there weren't many to share as the investigation was only about two hours underway, he said.
Mendez said APD responded to the area just after 10 a.m. after someone who was walking their dog nearby called 911
