Brownsville opens first of its kind eco-friendly 3D-printed Starbucks

BROWNSVILLE, Texas (ValleyCentral) — The first-of-its-kind 3D-printed drive-thru Starbucks is now open in Brownsville, Texas.The new store, located at 2491 Boca Chica Boulevard, next to Lotus Cafe, held a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Friday to welcome customers and thank the City of Brownsville, Chamber of Commerce, city commissioners, and Starbucks partners for their support.The unique building was created using 3D concrete printing technology, making a 1,400-square-foot commercial shell.
