Austin toll prices could hit $18 per 10-mile trip

The Central Texas Regional Mobility Authority recently updated its toll pricing and traffic trends during a board meeting. While MOPAC Express Lane tolls could reach $18 for a ten-mile trip, prices are projected to be as low as $1.46 by 2026. Additionally, officials announced plans to introduce radar speed trailers to address speeding concerns across the agency's managed highways.
