MEMPHIS, Tenn. (WREG) — Three former Memphis police officers have been acquitted of state charges in the beating death of Tyre Nichols after he ran away from a traffic stop in 2023.It took more than eight hours over two days for a jury to reach its verdict, finding all three officers — Tadarrius Bean, Demetrius Haley, and Justin Smith — not guilty on all charges.
