University of Georgia lineman Nyier Daniels arrested on felony and misdemeanor charges following police chase

Georgia coach Kirby Smart announced Monday that offensive tackle Nyier Daniels has been dismissed from the team following his arrest on Sunday."Have not had a chance to talk to him or his family, but he will no longer be with us," Smart said.Daniels remained in a Jackson County, Georgia, jail on Monday morning following his arrest on multiple charges resulting from a high-speed police chase in Commerce.According to the Jackson County jail log, Daniels was booked at 10 a.m. Sunday on three felony
