Driver dies after crashing into parked school bus in Cherokee County; 22 students reported safe

The driver who collided with a packed school bus Tuesday morning in Woodstock has died, according to police. EMS officials pronounced the 79-year-old man, whose identity has not been released, dead at the scene of the crash. All 22 students and the driver aboard the school bus are safe, school officials said.The two-vehicle crash involving Woodstock Elementary School bus No. 050 happened at the intersection of northbound Highway 92 and Main Street, according to the Woodstock Police Departme
