Orange County supervisors approve another $9.5 million in Airport fire settlements 

The OC Board of Supervisors on Tuesday, April 8, approved paying $9.5 million to settle multiple Airport fire claims.
A $3 million settlement approved is set to go to one family, and the remaining $6.5 million will be dispersed to six individual claimants. The board voted on the settlement in closed session so there was no public discussion of the claims.
Orange County’s risk management department is sifting through more than 2,000 filings as claims come in before the deadline seeking reim
