Belle and Sebastian’s Stuart Murdoch on reading Judy Blume to his kids
In his debut novel, “Nobody’s Empire,” Belle and Sebastian singer Stuart Murdoch tells a coming-of-age story that mirrors his own. Set in the early 1990s, Stephen is a young man whose life is upended when he develops chronic fatigue syndrome, also known as, myalgic encephalomyelitis (ME).
