Baseball roundup: Cypress advances to National Classic final

Eight different players had hits for Cypress in its 8-1 win over Arlington of Riverside in the semifinals of the National Classic baseball tourament.
Cal State Fullerton commit Noah Johnson went 2 for 3 with a double and a RBI for the Centurions. Wyatt Rosales had a double and two RBIs and Gary Hennessy went 1 for 1 with a stolen base and two RBIs.
Aiden Franco had eight strikeouts in 4⅓ innings to get the win.
Cypress (11-7) will play Aquinas in the championship game Thursday at 4 pm at E
