Winter storm hits Albuquerque in heart of spring

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) –  Rain and snow have been dumping throughout Albuquerque, especially the northeast and east mountains area of the metro, creating low driving visibility and several inches sticking to the ground. Now, most of the snow has melted, leaving some slick roads.
NMDOT said they have crews monitoring conditions, but for now, the thick of the storm has moved on. A spokesperson says plows and workers were primarily working in Tijeras and Sedillo Hill in the east m
