NEW MEXICO (KRQE) – Fast-moving wispy clouds are occasionally passing through but it's mostly clear for most with southwesterly winds really picking up for many, which is allowing for air to descend down the east slopes of the mountains while leading to a warmer effect at the dry surface, resulting in the above-normal morning temperatures earlier in the Rio Grande Valley to southern communities of New Mexico with many starting off in the 50s to the 60s, while around-freezing temperatures w
