Widespread stormy conditions in New Mexico with cooler weather

NEW MEXICO (KRQE) – Rain activity with high-elevation snow is widespread across northern New Mexico with some strong thunderstorms in Eastern New Mexico and parts of the Rio Grande Valley. Westerly winds are slowly drifting the precipitation to the east in front of another push of moisture arriving in the Four Corners with an upper-level low pressure system. Southerly upper-level winds are pushing individual storms to the north. Meanwhile, easterly winds are bringing in plenty of surface m
