Warmer weather returns after late season winter storm

Rain and snow have been moving through the state today bringing very beneficial moisture. A few thunderstorms also developed across southern portions of the state. As we head into the later evening hours, these rain and snow showers will continue to push off to the east and eventually out of the region through the overnight hours.
Drier weather will return to New Mexico by Sunday morning, but it will be a cold start to the day! A Freeze Watch is in effect for the Albuquerque Metro on Sunday morn
