Warmer, drier and windier before wet & cool weather
NEW MEXICO (KRQE) – Some pockets of chilly rain activity were moving east with a few lightning strikes, as well as wet snowflakes, that were mixing in with the clouds north of the Metro, as despite still above-normal temperatures in the Rio Grande Valley to southern communities of New Mexico with many starting off in the 50s to the low 60s, around-freezing temperatures were occurring in the Northern Mountains, with mostly calmer winds for now.Forecast Continues Below
