Poll: Should students be allowed to have their phones in classrooms?
NEW MEXICO (KRQE) – New Mexico schools will soon become phone-free. Senate Bill 11 requires each school district in the state to implement a policy for the use of phones by students. It also sets aside $10 million to reimburse schools for phone storage equipment, like phone lockers or magnetically locked phone pouches like the ones already in Taos schools. With plenty of community members both supporting and opposing phone-free schools, KRQE asked viewers via social media if
