One dead in multi-boat crash during Major League Fishing tournament in Alabama

CULLMAN COUNTY, Ala. (WIAT/WHNT) — An angler competing in a Major League Fishing tournament in Alabama was involved in a fatal boat crash Wednesday morning, authorities have confirmed.
The crash happened on Lewis Smith Lake, a reservoir in the northern portion of the state, at around 7 a.m., according to the Cullman County Emergency Management Agency.Cullman County Coroner Jeremy Kilpatrick confirmed one person is dead.Major League Fishing confirmed to Nexstar's WHNT that the "serious boat
