Inflation eases slightly in April, remains above 3%

ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. (NewsNation) — Prices rose 3.4% year-over-year in April, according to the latest Consumer Price Index report. It's slightly lower than March, but still above the 2% target.Even though inflation has fallen since its peak of 9.1% in June of 2022, Americans are still grappling with everyday costs.
