NEW MEXICO (KRQE) – Not-as-cold air is present with still very clear skies, calm winds, and dry air, as the northwestern half of the region is starting off around or below the freezing mark with some areas in the Northern Mountains nearing the teens, while many areas to the southeast are starting off in the 40s with a slightly peskier westerly winds accelerating down the east slopes of the Central Mountain, creating that warmer start.Some high-level clouds will pass on through today out in
