5.3 magnitude earthquake recorded in Texas-New Mexico border

NEW MEXICO (KRQE) – News 13 is getting reports of another earthquake in Texas. This time, about 50 miles west of Pecos and about 20 miles from the border with New Mexico. Earthquake reported in Socorro CountyThe U.S. Geological Survey recorded the epicenter with a magnitude of 5.3. Viewers have been calling into the station from viewers as far away as Roswell, who say they felt their homes shake. That's about 100 miles away from the epicenter.
