Netanyahu says FlyDubai scare under control after pilot reportedly tried to crash plane

Israel's Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu (ilia YEFIMOVICH/Getty Images)Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said Wednesday that the situation was under control after a flydubai flight carrying about 180 Israelis was diverted to Saudi Arabia and that steps were being taken to bring the passengers home safely.
"The situation is under control, and all measures are currently being taken to bring the Israeli passengers back to Israel safely," Netanyahu's office said in an official statement.
