Skanska wins £43m Clifton Bridge deal

Network Rail has appointed Skanska for the £43m Clifton Bridge replacement job in Penrith.
Skanska will design, build and install a new 130 metre single span steel bridge to replace the existing structure forming part of the West Coast Main Line that spans the M6 motorway.
The new bridge will be built in a dedicated location close to the existing structure. At the end of this year, the current bridge will be demolished and the new one moved into position and commissioned during a 15-day bl
