Go-ahead for Digbeth 240-home Phoenix Yard scheme

Car dealer-turned-developer Hartwell has secured planning for a £100m regeneration of the former Phoenix ironworks in Digbeth.
The Phoenix Yard scheme will turn a 2.8-acre brownfield plot off Coventry Street and Digbeth High Street into 260,000 sq ft of media, education and commercial space, with 240 new homes stacked in above and around the new blocks.
