Glasgow’s skyline set for 29-storey student tower

Developer Downing has submitted plans to Glasgow City Council to redevelop 40 Anderston Quay with over 1,100 student and co-living rooms on the banks of the Clyde.
The brownfield plot, which was formerly home to the Daily Record and Sunday Mail HQ, is earmarked for a 29-storey landmark student rooms tower of 550 bedrooms and a rooftop terrace.
