Christo-Inspired Public Artwork in Paris By French Artist JR Delayed Because of Storm

The opening of a public artwork by French artist JR inspired by Christo and Jeanne-Claude’s 1985 intervention The Pont Neuf Wrapped has reportedly been delayed after a storm damaged the installation overtop the River Seine in Paris.As reported by Euronews, the opening planned for this weekend has been postponed to an unspecified date after severe winds mangled part of the artwork on the oldest bridge in the French capital.
