Restaurant Brands International earnings beat as Burger King’s U.S. business soars
Restaurant Brands International delivered second-quarter financial results that exceeded Wall Street forecasts, driven primarily by robust performance at Burger King across multiple markets. The company reported net income attributable to shareholders of $507 million, or $1.45 per share, compared with $189 million, or 57 cents per share, in the prior-year period. On an adjusted basis excluding transaction costs and advisory fees, earnings reached $1.07 per share. Net revenue increased 4.5% to $
