Québec premier announces $5M to vegetable grower

Québec premier François Legault was in Sherrington, the heart of field vegetable production on April 11. He announced an investment of $5M to FMS Fresh Produce to build a factory that among other products, will produce mini carrots. Currently, 33 per cent of the carrots consumed in Québec are mini carrots, all imported from the United States.
