Rian Johnson, the writer-director of all three Knives Out movies, has named the next iconic Oscar-winning actor he wants in these projects. Notably, the film series has a revolving door cast. Only Daniel Craig, who plays Detective Benoit Blanc, appears in the same role. Noah Segan and Joseph Gordon-Levitt appear in all the movies, including Knives Out 3, but play different characters each time.
