Japan’s Mitsui expands e-methanol supply across Europe

Mitsui and European Energy are expanding customers and uses for e-methanol from the Kassø plant in southern Denmark.
After an initial Maersk marine-fuel shipment in May 2025, supplies began in spring 2026 to LEGO and Novo Nordisk for chemical products.
