EU's €3 duty: Winners, losers and the HS code hack

EU’s €3 customs duty on items under €150 has not caused a big decrease in apparel volumes into Europe, ePost Global says.
ePost is encouraging merchants to shift from DDU to DDP, as paid-duty shipments clear customs and are delivered without collection from consumers.
HS six grouping can reduce line-item duties, while DDU users face refused shipments and a €2 handling fee from November 1.
