Micron Technology announced Thursday plans to invest $10 billion over the next decade in a new long-horizon research institution called Micron Research Labs, headquartered in Boise, Idaho. The initiative aims to advance memory technologies, compute systems, packaging, and future semiconductor manufacturing to help ease supply-chain bottlenecks and support the surging demands of artificial intelligence.
