Two-time US Olympian Olivia Smoliga has revealed that she has been recovering from a hernia in her belly following the removal of her appendix.
Smoliga shared the news on her Instagram story, mentioning that her recovery is going well and that she will be back. She also mentioned that the hernia is the reason we will not be seeing her compete in Irvine this week at the US National Championships.
