Gayle force comeback propels Sheffield to first Playoff Final victory since 2015

Sheffield Hatters have won their first Women’s Playoff Final since 2015, and their first piece of silverware since 2019, after defeating the Oaklands Wolves 83-73 in an entertaining affair at the O2 Arena in London.
Georgia Gayle had a huge fourth quarter to be crowned the game’s MVP and co-led the Hatters with 19 points along with Destinee Walker, whilst fellow American Tyia Singleton also produced an impactful 14 points.
“It’s huge especially for me,” said Gayle.
