Power supplier says hundreds of York homes must convert to smart meters

E.ON Next is encouraging the nearly 800 customers in York who have a Radio Teleswitch Service (RTS) meter to upgrade to a smart meter before the radio signal that powers the technology is turned off on 30 June.
