Only two North West beaches make UK top 40 list - not Blackpool or Ainsdale

The North West is home to many excellent beaches such as Ainsdale Beach in Merseyside, Lytham St Annes in Lancashire and the iconic Blackpool Sands. But none of these made a recent top 40 list.
