Labour MP who skipped court 'for Parliament' went and visited a school instead

Margaret Mullane, Labour MP for Dagenham and Rainham, was ordered to court by senior east London coroner Graeme Irvine, who said her office had "misled" two grieving parents and tried to interfere in a judicial investigation.
