Former North East magistrate convicted of causing serious injury by dangerous driving in head-on smash

Jacquelin Curtis, formerly of Whitley Bay, has been convicted of leaving a woman seriously injured on the A696 and prosecutors alleged she had fallen asleep at the wheel in Northumberland.
