Appeal for Witnesses after Firearms Discharge, Elland

Saturday, 23 August, 2025Police are appealing for witnesses after a suspected firearms discharge in Elland which resulted in a man suffering serious injuries.The incident happened on Park Road, close to Valley Mills, in Elland at around 8:40pm on Thursday night (21/8).The male victim and his vehicle are believed to have been shot at by suspects in another vehicle.The victim then drove himself to hospital where he was treated for shotgun pellet and knife injures that are not believed to be life t
