Primark increases products made using recycled fibres
Primark has boosted its share of products made using recycled or more sustainably sourced fibres, according to its new sustainability and ethics progress report.
The fast fashion giant, which recently saw its UK sales decline, revealed that 74% of its garments now used recycled or more sustainably sourced fibres, compared to 66% in 2023.
Roughly 5% of its goods were designed for easier recycling, while circular design was used in 20% of its jersey range and 8% of its denim offering.
