Morrisons acquires 38 convenience stores in the Channel Islands
Morrisons has acquired 38 stores and six fuel forecourts in the Channel Islands from long-term partner SandpiperCI.
The supermarket chain said it currently supplies all the shops in some capacity, with 19 operating under its Daily fascia.
The stores, which are located on the islands of Jersey, Guernsey and Alderney, reported sales excluding fuel of £124.5m in the last 12 months.
Morrisons said the transaction also includes 520 SandpiperCI store, operations and managerial employees who will
